Statement

Tanner Teale’s perspective on design (as a process and mode of inquiry) is rooted in street photography, programming and conceptual art. The motivation for his work lies in his interest and compulsions around systems, poetics and archivism. The work seeks to re-present common objects, interactions and technologies through misuse — researching their potentials, both productive and unproductive — in order to better understand the world as it presents itself.
